Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons is the only magical school in France for witches and wizards. And one of the best at that. With a history going back over a thousand years, Beauxbatons is most defiantly a favourite for the younger generation. Ever since it was opened, the school has been for both genders despite some people calling it a female school.
This year promises new students, teachers, classes and much, much more! Quidditch, homework and house rivalry is just a tiny fraction of what goes on behinds Beauxbatons closed doors.

Marguerite sat alone at one of the any round tables in the library. This was how she liked to be alone, independent. She repeated these words frequently in her head like a mantra, attempting to convince herself that this was how she preferred life. Over and over again she repeated these words as she madly wrote notes from a rather large book she had in front of her.

Suddenly she heard giggling from a near by table. As she glanced up from her work she saw a boy pretending to read over another girls shoulder. Every time the girl turned to look over her shoulder he would quickly pull back and put on a mock innocent face as if she was being paranoid. Then the girl would laugh at the boy’s ridiculousness. Marguerite rolled her eyes irritated at their immaturity. This was a library not some coffee lounge.

After a while Marguerite realized that she had been spending a rather large portion of her time watching the two friends and what was more was that she felt a slight pang of loneliness. For a minute she actually envied the giggling girl. Luckily for Marguerite the feeling was soon replaced by superiority. She didn’t need anyone that’s what made her superior. She had never needed a “Study Buddy” where evidently this girl did, a sure sign of neediness on her part. At this thought Marguerite returned to her note taking content that she was by far the better woman in comparison.

For a while Marguerite was able to ignore the pair’s frivolities. Until it came to point where the boy’s never ending “what’s?” followed by that stupid girls giggling had become far too loud. At this Marguerite quickly snapped her book shut, making a loud enough noise to startle the pair but not conspicuous enough to arouse suspicion amongst the other inhabitants. Marguerite slowly rose from her table and strolled calmly but definitely over to the happy couple. She tried to make her moves look as casual as possible. She reached the table and stopped folding both arms tightly in front of her. Her usual glare was in place. “Sit in your seats and shut up or I’ll make sure you never make another sound for as long as both live! Do you understand me?” Hissed Marguerite aggressively. After the couple made a few vigorous nods in reply, Marguerite content with the result made her way back to her table.
